Vidya speaks out why she turned down 'Shootout At Wadala'

Bollywood actor Vidya Balan has now come forward to explain why she chose to walk out of Sanjay Gupta's 'Shootout At Wadala'. The actor in her recent media interaction confirmed the news that she turned down the offer reasoning that she was offered the film last year in the month of November when she was busy with her movie 'The Dirty Picture's promotional activities.

Also, she further added that when Gupta came to her with the script, Vidya did not find much scope of acting in the movie as the film is based on an encounter and film's male leads play crucial roles in the film.

However, the actor chose to walk out of the project expressing her displeasure towards her role. Meanwhile, Vidya has now also bagged UTV Motion Pictures 'Ghanchakkar' that is said to be comedy flick.

Deepika Padukone finalised for Kochadaiyaan !

Sources confirms that Deepika Padukone who was supposed to play the female lead in Rana was roped into Kochadaiyaan as it will be the prequel to Rana.

Just within two days of the film's First Look release with the Stunning pose of Superstar Rajinikanth, the film became the talk of the town.

Now it will get hotter it seems, earlier it was reported that Katrina Kaif was said to play the lead role but it seems that things have changed.

Soundarya R Ashwin who is keen on roping in the right choices has approached Deepika once again, when the actress who learnt that Kochadaiyaan is a prequel to Rana, immediately accepted the offer.

This is the couple's third movie together as earlier they were seen together in 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' which marked the couple's Bollywood debut and later they did a sex-comedy together in the name of the multi-starrer flick 'Masti'.

'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' is an upcoming directorial venture of Mandeep Kumar. The film showcases the love story between Ritiesh who kidnaps Genelia and later falls for her.

Katrina Kaif is shooting in Havana for Kabir Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger" and Hollywood action director Conrad Palmisano is making the actress do daring stunts like free-falls.

Katrina, under the protective eye of co-star and friend Salman Khan, is doing what one member of Cuban unit describes as "the real thing".

"These are stunts that any macho hero would think twice before daring. Katrina is really pushing the envelope as far as the female machismo is concerned. She is doing free-falls with Salman by her side. We hear Kareena in 'Agent Vinod' and Kangna Ranaut in 'Krrish 2' would also be attempting the hi-jinks...," said the unit member.

When asked about her daredevil act, Katrina said: "Yeah, it's scary but great fun. I've only done very feminine delicate roles so far. This is a new challenge for me. I guess that's what I'm looking for at this stage of my career."

Palmisano, who has supervised the stunts for over 200 topnotch films and television series, oversaw Sheila LeBeouf's stunts in "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon", Nicolas Cage in the forthcoming "Seeking Justice" and Jackie Chan in "Rush Hour", informed the source from on-location.

Apparently Palmisano initially suggested "something softer" for Katrina.

The actress is preparing for them every morning.

"She wakes up at the crack of dawn to get warmed up for Palmisano's stunts. Then she gets down to action. Very risky ones, I might add which many of our Bollywood heroes would insist on being done by doubles. Lekin Katrina mein ek junoon hai. She is out to prove she can do action scenes as well...," said the source.
