Lenovo, which manufacturers laptops for those who do, has unveiled its new IdeaPad U300s at a press event in Bangalore. The base version sports a 2nd generation Intel Core i5-2457M CPU and HD 3000 graphics, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, HDMI and USB 3.0 connectivity, and blessed with RapidCharge technology.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U300s is available in two different colors Graphite Grey and Clementine Orange. The design of the laptop is similar to that of the other ultrabooks - non-replaceable batteries, aluminium body, SSD storage, quick bootup and long standby life.
Speaking about the specifications of the new Lenovo IdeaPad U300s, the laptop is featured with 13.3-inch 1366x768 pixel display. The main highlighting feature of the U300s is the Breathable Keyboard, in which the air flow is directed through the keyboard and vents. The U300 is just 0.6 inches thick, and weighs less than 1.36 kgs.
Price in India :
The Lenovo IdeaPad U300s is available for Rs. 67,900 + taxes, higher specced options include i7 processors, 256GB SSD drives or 1TB hard drives.

The IdeaPad sure is sleek/stylish looking and I see this commercial on TV ALL THE TIME (this commercial here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax1xslbuRKU )...that combined with the great catchy song they use ("My Time" by Caveman") has me so tempted to spend money I don't have on a brand new IdeaPad aaargh why do companies do this to me?
