Bipasha Basu who was very happy about having a song on her name in her upcoming flick Jodi Breakers with Madhavan is now in trouble.
After Kareena Kapoor's 'Bebo' song, Bips too has joined the list by having a song in her name that goes 'Oh Bipasha Bipasha' in the upcoming film Jodi Breakers, composed by music director duo Salim-Sulaiman.
Now the latest buzz is that the song is copied from the international pop album 'Beautiful Liar', that featured Beyonce & Shakira and that song goes 'Oh Beyonce Beyonce ... Oh Shakira Shakira'.
Bipasha who was earlier skeptical about having a song in her name had accepted after listening to the tune and she informs that her whole family absolutely loved the song.
Excited about the song Bipasha says, "A lot of people have been interested in using my name in songs, but I am very protective about it. But when Salim-Sulaiman came to me with this track I thought it would really work for the song. This is the first time my name has been used like this and it's very exciting."
Bipasha added, "All my friends are absolutely crazy about the song and we play it all the time." Ask her if she's aware of the Beyonce number and she said, "Oh really? I didn't know that."
About the Plagiarism music composer Salim Merchant said, "I don't really know which song you are talking about, but what we have created is an original number. We make sure none of our music sounds similar to anyone else's. Even if it sounds similar, it will never be entirely the same."
